The newly formed SLG International are pleased to inform any current or future stakeholders that the group is issuing their first public offering since achieving corporation status. This first release comes in the form of a 2-track from Blank Patrick (fka TryTry) that is expected to pay big dividends to any listener.
Blank Patrick opens with 'Bluebell', which begins with ghostly, hollowed out samples reminiscent of mid 2010s mainstays like Gold Panda or Jacques Greene. This stirring opening makes way for some seriously compressed kick drums and, later, Blank Patrick peppers the arrangement with some irresistibly chipmunked vocal chops and synths panned on ultra-wide.
Next up, 'Serif Soaked' moves in a slightly more functional direction whilst still retaining a faint idea of Patrick's ear for the idiosyncratic. A mosaic of drum hits and piano chords build up into a pointillistic house track underpinned by a thick bassline which seems to leap up and down tonal intervals.
'Bluebell / Serif Soaked' is a watershed moment for a producer who's been working on his craft for over a decade now. Mixing his love of the early Hemlock and Hessle records he grew up on with the haunted tonality of acts like Tim Hecker, this release represents a distilling of years of experimentation & many late nights of refinement.
Alongside Blank Patrick; fellow board members Glot, Plesk Parallel, Jawside & Strict Face will each be issuing solo and inter-corporate collaborative releases from the next quarter onwards. It’s an exciting time to get in on the ground at SLG International and we hope you'll generously invest your time and money into this once in a lifetime opportunity. Thank you.

Stunning melodies on the title track, pure and minimalistic Baltimore club on «QUESO N BONES» and «BELLY UP», before Baltimore meets tribal groove on «C240». Svebbe
